REMOTE ARC
Remote MCP computer access for AI agents
Remote Arc is a hosted Remote MCP bridge that lets compatible AI clients discover and invoke approved capabilities on computers you pair.
Why remote MCP instead of a public local server
AI clients connect to one hosted MCP endpoint while each computer makes an outbound device connection. The computer does not need to host a publicly reachable MCP listener.
What the MCP tools can cover
Depending on device policy, Remote Arc can expose file and directory inspection, supported file edits, process inspection, managed commands, local undo, browser tab context and background jobs.
Where the security boundary lives
OAuth controls the AI client and per-device policy controls the computer. Terminal execution, when enabled, still inherits the permissions of the local operating-system user.
