REMOTE ARC

Clean up Windows C: or Mac disk space safely

Read-only disk usage audit, reviewed large-file candidates and explicit path-by-path confirmation before destructive cleanup.

Example request

On my authorized Windows PC, run read-only disk-usage checks for C:, list the largest candidates and estimated reclaimable bytes, and wait for explicit path-by-path approval before deleting anything.

How the work proceeds

Measure free space and inspect accessible directories, group build outputs and package caches as candidates, present exact paths and risks, then perform only individually approved operations and remeasure.

Tools and permissions

Read-only file metadata and authorized start_process checks can profile disk usage. Actual deletion is a separate terminal operation requiring explicit authorization and appropriate workspace access.

What useful evidence looks like

Record initial and final free space, exact approved deleted paths, measured reclaimed capacity and skipped risky candidates.

Know the boundary

Never blindly purge WinSxS, System32, ProgramData, user profiles, backups or macOS snapshots. Prefer operating-system cleanup tools for managed system files. Shell deletion is outside Local Undo.
