REMOTE ARC
How Remote Arc gets work done
Start with an outcome. Connect your tools, reuse a skill and keep the result with the work.
Choose your workspace
Open Arc at agent.remotearc.app to work with the hosted personal agent. Activate the 14-day Auto trial, or choose Plus / Pro in Settings → Billing. You do not need a model API key. If you prefer an existing ChatGPT, Claude or coding client, use Connect to expose your authorized Apps and computers through MCP. Both entrances use the same account connections and execution controls.
Connect the capability your goal needs
For email or a repository, connect the relevant account in Apps. Cloud App actions do not require a computer. For local files, commands or installed software, pair a computer and choose its allowed tools and workspace. Describe a concrete result: “Summarize recent inbox messages and give me the actions”, or “Check the latest deployment of my web project”. Arc needs actual message content or deployment evidence to answer; a connection check alone is not completion.
Reuse a method with @skills
Open Skills to use the cloud library or import a SKILL.md. In the composer, type @ or choose Skills, select a skill and describe the result. The selected reference is saved with your message and Arc reads its instructions. A skill supplies a method; it does not install engines, repository files or dependencies. Image or video creation still needs a connected, supported generation capability.
Use Tasks for work that should persist
Ask Arc to save a one-off task or a repeating routine, with the goal, accounts and timing. For a daily routine include the time and timezone. Tasks keeps saved work, next runs and results together. Each run checks current access, permissions and budgets. If a run fails or an action cannot be confirmed, repeating work pauses for inspection. Creating a schedule is not evidence that its first run succeeded.
See results and stay in control
Chat shows a compact working indicator and the final answer. Open Activity for execution details when needed. Check returned links, files or provider results before relying on important work. Arc reports missing permissions, unavailable devices, missing engines and exhausted budgets as blockers. Stop prevents further dispatch; an action already in flight may finish. Review and remove personal memories in Settings, and revoke App or device access independently.
